The paintings by Francesco Fieravino and his rich still lifes are characterised by the presence of Turkish carpets, tapestries and curtains that cover tables and shelves, flowers and fruits arranged randomly with some precious objects, musical instruments and framed images or mirrors.
The two works, together with two others also by Fieravino, were part of the catalogue of the Semenzato Auction in Florence in 1989.
