Volkswagen Wirbulator The wirbulator was made for the Volkswagen Oval Beetle which was produced between 1953 and 1957. The wirbulator has the shape of a grouse and was placed on a the decorative trim of the bonnet at about 60 cm from the windshield. The whirl of air that emerges while driving prevents insects or snowflakes from hitting the windshield. Signed: Ges. Gesch. A rarely offered accessory typical for the period of the Oval Beetle. The object has been photographed on various surfaces in order to provide a proper impression.
