ALL THE WINES WERE TAKEN ON EXIT AND KEPT IN THE PRIVATE CELLAR
CASTELLO D'ALBOLA, ACCIAIOLO 2011
Acciaiolo is a sumptuous interpretation of the expressive force of the soils around Castello di Albola: a meticulous selection of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes confers character and elegance, while a small percentage of Sangiovese from a single vineyard of old vines underpins its most authentic nuances. The name of the wine pays tribute to the House of the Acciaiuoli; a distinguished wine, it combines power with grace, and has a soft and supple body, a seductive aroma and long and lingering finish.
Radda in Chianti, Chianti Classico
80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese

IL BORRO PIAN DI NOVA 2011
Pian di Nova has an intense ruby red color. The bouquet is floral and intensely fruity with scents of black and red fruits and hints of spicy notes. The taste is smooth and full-bodied, with a pleasant freshness and an alcohol that mellows the tannins. The persistence is good, with spicy and fruity end. Overall “Pian Di Nova” is a well-balanced and versatile wine which never tires the palate.

Alcohol 13,5%, total acidity 5g/l, dry extract 28,3g/l
It is ideal with dishes from the Tuscan tradition and it pairs very well also with spicy and strong-flavoured dishes from the oriental cuisine.
FELSINA CASTELLO DI FARNETELLA, POGGIO GRANONI 2007
Made from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot e Syrah grapes, grown in the Poggio Granoni micro-zone at Farnetella in the commune of Sinalunga. The vineyards, at elevation of 500-540 metres, are planted in layered soils of sand and silt. Poggio Granoni is the fruit of many years of efforts to fully develop the potential of non-indigenous grape varieties, as complementing varieties to sangiovese. In this wine, the varieties classic to the Colli Senesi is enriched with a more complex texture: the predominant sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon provide the structure, while the Merlot adds smoothness and roundedness, and the Syrah.
Denomination: IGT Toscana
Varietal: Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.
Ageing: Malolactic fermentation in steel and maturation for 12 months in new and once-used 225-litre oak barriques, followed by assemblage of the final blend, bottling and ages in glass a minimum of 8-10 months
Sensory profile: Rich ruby red with garnet hints. Elegant bouquet with spicy notes of leather, tobacco leaf and roast espresso. Consistent tannins on the palate with hints of red ripe fruit. Superb body and depth, elegant and well-balanced aftertaste
LIVERNANO CHIANTI CLASSICO RISERVA 2009
Our Chianti Classico Riserva comes from some of the warmer, south-facing blocks at our estate. It is composed almost entirely of Sangiovese and spends one year in small French oak barrels.
