Sheet: 20.7x27.5 cm Ancient ink-numbering at the top, trimmed bottom margin. It shows a small restored tear at the bottom. From Atlas Minor. The map has a beautiful allegorical cartouche. Lotter continued Seutter's activity often using the same plates with minimal variations, but also publishing unpublished material often very decorative and sometimes rare. His maps always have bright colours and elaborate title blocks, just like Seutter’s. After his apprenticeship at Homann’s in Nuremberg, Seutter moved to Augsburg around 1720, where he opened his own business and definitely surpassed his master.
